Why should I hire a EcoSafeMaids.Com? 

We are licensed, bonded and fully insured including worker's compensation.  You are not held responsible if an accident occurs at your home during a professional house cleaning. In addition, we offer on-going extensive training in professional cleaning techniques and cleaning products. 

Will "green" clean better than regular cleaning services?

Our cleaning products are not only safe for you and your family and better for the environment but it cleans just as good if not better than leading chemical products in the market today.

How much does it cost to have my house cleaned?

Typically, Eco Safe Maids provides maid service during the hours of 8am to 6pm Monday  -  Friday.  In some areas we may offer Saturday cleanings. We are able to provide a custom estimate based on your needs.

Do you provide green house cleaning service in my area?

We have one of the largest service area for green cleaning in the area. Now serving with no additional travel charges: All areas of Washington DC, Rockville, Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Silver Springs, Potomac, Fairfax County, Arlington, Alexandria. All other areas that are not listed are serviceable but may have additional charges for travel time. Please call us for your area.

Do I need to provide vacuums, brooms or other cleaning equipment and supplies?

We bring all the supplies and equipment needed to clean your home. All of our household cleaning products are natural, biodegradable, hypoallergenic and made with the least toxic ingredients available.  Where possible we buy only from companies who adhere to sound ecologically friendly production facilities.  Our cleaning equipment is energy efficient and occasionally we are able to use efficient no energy use products such as carpet sweepers.

Do your products clean really clean as well as other cleaners?

Yes.  The days are long past when highly toxic petrochemical ingredients were the only alternatives for effective cleaning. What if I want to cancel or reschedule my cleaning?

To cancel your cleaning and/or to request that your maid service be rescheduled you may use the form located in the Current Contact us section.   If you are requesting that your cleaning be rescheduled we will make every effort to accommodate your schedule and needs.  To avoid being charged for the canceled cleaning we must receive the form or voice message 48 hours prior to your scheduled cleaning day and time.   For example, if you are scheduled for Thursday afternoons then a cancellation notice should be received before noon on Tuesday.   If you had been scheduled for Thursday morning then your cancellation notice should have been received by 9am on Tuesday morning.

How do I pay for my cleaning?

You may pay for your cleaning by check, cash or credit cards. (You may call in your number)

Are your  employees bonded and insured?

Yes, insured with Liberty Mutal.  We know how important your home furnishings and belongings are to you and your family.  We're extremely careful but should an accident happen it's good to know you are protected from loss, breakage or other damage that might occur during cleaning.  We also carry Workers' Compensation insurance where applicable. 

What about employment taxes?

Properly documented payment of employment tax for household employees is of growing concern for many.  The IRS requires that FICA taxes be paid on all household employees including those you hire yourself.    All our staff members are employees of Eco Safe Maids.  We pay all social security, state, federal and local taxes.  We take care of the paper work so you don't have to!
